Theater Access:

The north-south drive between 65th St. and 62nd St. is available for the drop off of patrons requiring wheelchairs or other walking assistance on the lower level and from Columbus Ave. at 63rd street under the canopy and Terrace at the David H. Koch Theater for Lobby access.  The best option for patrons with limited mobility who require access to the David H. Koch Theater with as few stairs as possible is to be dropped off at Columbus Ave and 63rd Street and use the ramp to the theater or on W. 62nd. St.  At the west end of the Theater prior to Damrosch Park. Patrons exiting vehicles at this location should then proceed north (toward Lincoln Center Plaza) along the side of the Theater and turn right at the west end of the terrace to reach the main Lobby entrance.   

Wheelchair patrons may also be discharged at the David H. Koch Theater Wheelchair Entrance beginning 30 minutes before the start of the performance. Individuals wishing to access the Wheelchair Entrance for the David H. Koch Theater should use the Lincoln Center Parking Garage entrance on Amsterdam Avenue at 63rd Street.  Specifically, please utilize the second entrance, marked as Reserved Customers Only. Please notify the security guard on duty of the need to access this entrance.  Then, follow the drive to the right. 
 
The Wheelchair Entrance is located near the last pillar on the left hand side (David H. Koch Theater Wheelchair Entrance is marked above the door and on the last pillar).  Please use the red telephone directly outside the entrance to be buzzed into the building. Once inside, a security guard will direct you to the elevators that will take you to the Orchestra Level where they can change elevators for access to any level.  

Wheelchair Elevator:

A wheelchair-accessible elevator is located to the right of the Box Office windows in the Lobby to transport individuals from the Lobby to the Orchestra Level of the Theater.

Facilities for the Physically Handicapped:

Available on all seating levels

Hearing Assistance:  Infrared headsets are available for rental during performances.Rentals are available at the Coat Check on the Orchestra Level. Rental requires a driver’s license or major credit card as a security deposit. 
Binoculars:  Opera glasses are available for rental during performances for a $5.00 fee. Rentals are available at the Coat Check on the Orchestra Level. Rental requires a major credit card or $80 as a security deposit.
